I am a COSCA certified counsellor and a BABCP accredited cognitive behavioural psychotherapist. I am a member of the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies, as well as a member of Glasgow’s renowned Centre of Therapy. I have experience of working across a range of client groups through organisations such as New Horizon in Easterhouse and ACT-Meridian in Coatbridge, as well as through my own private practice.

In the past I worked in Forth Valley and was employed by ASC in Falkirk as a recovery development worker, an addictions worker, and a group facilitator. I use my CBT training to integrate therapeutic interventions into service user’s recovery journeys. I am also a SMART Recovery facilitator. SMART Recovery is a mutual support organisation which utilises REBT and CBT interventions to help substance misusers build and maintain motivation, cope with urges, and live a balanced life.

I am currently employed by Combat Stress working with veterans across a range of presentations from coping with anger to PTSD and complex trauma. I teach trainee therapists at the Centre of Therapy as well as offering first rate therapist supervision to student therapists and qualified therapists.

No matter what your situation, no matter what changes you wish to make, and no matter what you have tried in the past, I believe that by working together we can help you make the lasting changes you want. Together, we can ensure you have the tools at your disposal to continue to help yourself into the future.
